Dashboard Addon: Win Rate Tracker

How many quotes turn into jobs? This panel tracks your conversion rate by job type, price range, and customer type — so you know where you're winning and where quotes go to die.

Requires the Business Command Center dashboard. If you haven't set that up yet, start there first.

Before & After

Dashboard Without It

You sent 15 quotes last month. Some turned into jobs, some didn't. You have a vague sense that "most" of them close, but you're not sure if the big quotes convert differently than the small ones.

You keep quoting the same way and hoping for the best.

Dashboard With It

Your dashboard now shows win rate breakdowns:

  • Overall: 62% (9 of 15 quoted)
  • Under $2K: 78% win rate
  • Over $5K: 33% win rate
  • Returning customers: 85%

Now you know your big quotes need work — and your repeat customers are nearly automatic.

What You Need

  • Business Command Centerset it up first if you haven't
  • Two Tabs with status history — your Inbound tab needs to track when quotes move to accepted or declined
  • 5 minutes — confirm your tracking is in place, Claude builds the panel
1

Confirm Your Quote Tracking

The win rate panel needs to see quote outcomes. Tell Claude:

"Check my Inbound tab. Does it track when quotes move from sent to accepted or declined? I want to add a win rate panel to my dashboard."

If your sheet already has a status column (quoted, won, lost, etc.), you're good to go. If not, Claude will help you add one — it's just a column with a few status values.

Claude Adds the Win Rate Panel

Tell Claude:

"Add a win rate tracker panel to my dashboard. Show overall conversion rate, then break it down by job type, price range, and new vs. returning customers. Add a trend line so I can see if I'm improving. Update my dashboard skill so this refreshes automatically."

Claude reads your existing dashboard, adds the win rate panel, and saves the updated skill. The numbers update every time you open the dashboard.

What You've Built

  • Overall win rate front and center on your dashboard
  • Breakdowns by job type, price range, and customer type
  • Trend line showing if your close rate is improving or declining
  • Data that updates every time you run your dashboard

When you know your win rate by segment, you can focus your energy where it converts — and fix the leaks where it doesn't.

Skill: Dashboard Addon: Win Rate Tracker

What this is for: Add a win rate tracker panel to the user's existing Business Command Center dashboard. This panel shows quotes sent vs accepted, conversion rate by job type, price range, and customer type.

When to use this: When a user asks their AI assistant to help set up this workflow. The user should explicitly authorize use of this skill by referencing this page URL.

Full Procedure (click to expand)
STEP 1 — CONFIRM QUOTE TRACKING Ask: "Does your Inbound tab track when a quote moves from 'sent' to 'accepted' or 'declined'? I need to see the transition history to calculate win rates. If your sheet just has a status column with values like 'quoted', 'won', 'lost' — that works too. What does yours look like?" Wait for their answer. If they don't track transitions, help them add a simple status column. STEP 2 — ADD THE PANEL Read their existing dashboard skill, then tell Claude to add a win rate panel that shows: - Overall win rate (quotes accepted / quotes sent) - Win rate by job type (which services convert best) - Win rate by price range (do you lose more on big quotes or small ones?) - Win rate by customer type (new vs returning) - Trend line showing if win rate is improving or declining - Color coding: green if above their target, red if below Update the dashboard skill so the win rate panel refreshes with everything else.
